We’re thrilled to announce that the Mach One Electric Skateboard has won a Gold Good Design Award in the Product Design category at this year’s Australian Good Design Awards. This prestigious accolade is a huge validation of the hard work and innovation that went into developing the Mach One, and we couldn’t be prouder to be recognised at one of Australia’s top design events.
The 2024 Australian Good Design Awards were held at Sydney’s International Convention Centre, where over 1,000 guests from the design, architecture, engineering, and business sectors gathered to celebrate the best in design across a variety of industries. This year’s theme, "The Design Effect," focused on how design not only creates better products but also shapes more sustainable solutions for the future.
The Mach One Electric Skateboard stood out as a winner for its innovative blend of traditional skateboard elements and modern electric technology, delivering a unique riding experience that caters to both everyday commuters and adrenaline seekers. This is a significant achievement considering the high number of submissions and incredible calibre of projects represented in the 2024 Awards.

While we’re incredibly proud of the Mach One’s success, it was just one of many incredible projects recognised at the 2024 Australian Good Design Awards. Covering 12 disciplines and over 32 categories, the awards highlighted everything from architecture and engineering to emerging fields like design strategy and social impact.
Judged by a panel of over 80 international experts, including designers, engineers, and industry leaders, the awards focused on three main criteria: Good Design, Design Innovation, and Design Impact. These elements ensured that each winner, like the Mach One, showcased exceptional quality, functionality, and forward-thinking innovation.
