How much does a Radium electric skateboard cost?

The Mach One S costs $3,850 AUD and is in stock now, shipping worldwide from Australia. That price is for a complete, ready-to-ride board — deck, drivetrain, battery, remote and charger included.

The original Mach One was $5,298 AUD, built as a numbered run of 100 boards, and is now sold out. It remains our heritage flagship and is fully supported with parts and service guides.

What do you get for $3,850?

The base-price Mach One S is the full performance package — there is no stripped-down version and nothing essential sold separately.

• F55 Darkstar motors — our most powerful and efficient motors, launched exclusively on the Mach One S, delivering 6,000W and a 70kph (44mph) top speed.
• 1,296Wh battery — 18S4P pack using IR-matched Samsung 21700-50S cells, tested at 50km real-world range with 85kg rider.
• 18S (75.6V) high-voltage system with the JK ESC, custom current control and smart reverse.
• SR125 V3 airless rubber wheels — 125mm, Kegel-compatible out of the box.
• Refined Mach One chassis — the same suspension platform as the original, with improved bushing compounds and vibration isolation.
• Telemetry remote — display, 12-hour battery, hall-sensor throttle, adjustable power modes.
• Bamboo-core fibreglass composite deck in automotive gloss paint — Jet Black or Rosso Corsa.

What options change the price?

Options on the Mach One S are deliberately few, and none are required to get the full board.

• Colour — Jet Black or Rosso Corsa (Racing Red), no price difference.
• Anodised wheel nuts — black, blue or red CNC nuts add $49 AUD.
• Bushing hardness — hard (70A) or medium (60A), no price difference, chosen to suit rider weight and style.

Why does a Mach One S cost more than most electric skateboards?

Most electric skateboards under $2,000 are assembled from generic longboard parts with strapped-on motors; the Mach One S is engineered from scratch as an electric skateboard, and the price reflects what's actually in it.

• Proprietary motors and drivetrain — the F55 Darkstar motors, ESC tuning and belt drive are Radium designs, not catalogue parts. Radium motors are trusted enough that other premium builders use them.
• Australian engineering, direct to you — designed and developed in Australia and sold direct, with no dealer margin built into the price.
• A chassis built to be serviced — belts, pulleys, bearings, bushings and wheels are all user-replaceable wear parts backed by genuine Radium spares and published service guides.
• Founder-level support — support questions are answered by the people who engineered the board, backed by a 12-month warranty from the date of delivery.

The honest comparison: it isn't a more expensive version of a $1,500 board — it's more board.

What did the original Mach One cost, and can you still buy one?

The Mach One sold for $5,298 AUD as a numbered limited run of 100 boards, and every one of them sold. It introduced RTS — Radium Tuning System, our independent wheel control and ride-tuning platform — and it remains fully supported with parts, guides and direct service today. The Mach One S carries the same chassis DNA at a lower price by refining the suspension for precise steering without RTS hardware.

What do parts and running costs look like?

Running costs are low and predictable because wear parts are cheap and user-replaceable: drive belts start at $5.99, machined motor pulleys are $24.99, and even a complete replacement motor is $330 AUD. You replace what wears, not the board.

Is a Mach One S right for you?

The Mach One S is built for riders who want serious engineering and are comfortable being a little hands-on. There are no dealer service centres — instead you get direct support from the builders, genuine spares shipped fast, and step-by-step service guides. If you can change a belt on a pushbike, you can maintain a Mach One S. If you want a board you never have to touch with a spanner, a cheaper mass-market board with local warranty service may honestly suit you better.
